Please review the policies below before booking an event or a stay at Old Central Firehouse. These policies apply to all bookings and are incorporated in full in your signed contract or reservation agreement.

Reservations & Payment
All reservations are secured with a valid credit card, charged at the time of booking. A temporary authorization hold of $100 per night, up to a maximum of $300 per stay, is placed on the card on file prior to arrival. This hold is released after check-out, provided no damages or incidental charges apply. No-shows and early departures are charged for one night's stay.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is at 3:00 PM; early check-in is available with prior approval. Check-out is at 11:00 AM; late departures without approval incur an additional night's charge. A 4-digit access code and arrival instructions are provided ahead of check-in.
Minimum Stay
A two-night minimum stay applies to weekend and holiday bookings.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy for the full property is 12 guests. The Firehouse Suite accommodates up to 4 guests; individual suites accommodate up to 2 guests. Old Central Firehouse is an intimate bed and breakfast. Parties, events, or large gatherings of any kind are not permitted in the suites and will result in immediate removal without refund.
Adults-Only Property
Old Central Firehouse Suites is an adults-only retreat. Guests are asked to make other arrangements for children. Guests found with children on the property will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted on the property. Violations result in a $150 cleaning fee and immediate removal without refund.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Smoking inside the building is not permitted and results in a $150 fee.
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping is not provided for shorter stays. Additional towels and supplies are available upon request.
Damages & Cleaning
Damages and missing items are charged to the card on file. Additional cleaning fees, with a $150 minimum, may apply for excessive mess, damage, or linen replacement. Many items throughout the property hold historical significance; guests are asked to treat them with care.
House Rules
A $150 fee applies to any violation of house rules.
Cancellation Policy
- 30 or more days prior to arrival: full refund, less a 2.9% credit card processing fee
- 8–29 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of the total stay, less a 2.9% credit card processing fee
- 7 days or fewer prior to arrival: no refund
Accessibility
All guest rooms are located upstairs and accessible by staircase. The property does not have an elevator.
Amenities
A light, self-serve breakfast is available each morning. Guests are also welcome to enjoy amenities at our sister property, Angoria Hotel.

Booking & Payment
A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit secure your event date. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the event. Events booked within 90 days of the date require full payment at signing. All payments are non-refundable.
Event Hours
Standard rental hours are 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. All music, amplified sound, and event activity must conclude by 10:00 PM. Additional time may be requested in advance, subject to availability and applicable fees.
Guest Count & Security
Final guest count must be confirmed in advance and is strictly enforced; changes require written approval. One security guard is required for events exceeding 75 guests, and two are required for events exceeding 150 guests. Any event serving alcohol requires a security guard, regardless of guest count.
Vendors
Clients may select any vendor, subject to venue approval. All vendors must be licensed and insured, and must provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request. A full vendor list is due 30 days prior to the event. Full vendor requirements are outlined on our [Vendors page →].
Alcohol
All alcohol service requires a TABC-certified bartender. Self-service alcohol and cash bars are not permitted. Events found in violation of this policy are subject to immediate shutdown without refund.
Prohibited Items
Firearms and weapons of any kind, open flames, and illegal substances or activities are not permitted on the premises. Battery-operated candles are welcome in place of open flames.
Décor & Setup
Nails, staples, glue, and strong adhesives are not permitted for décor installation. All décor is subject to venue approval and must be fully removed at the conclusion of the event. Damage to the venue resulting from décor or setup is charged to the client.
Damage & Cleaning
A valid credit card must be kept on file for the duration of the rental. Up to $500 may be charged for damages or excessive cleaning without additional authorization. Damages exceeding $500 are invoiced separately.
Weather
All events proceed rain or shine. Outdoor spaces are not guaranteed and are non-refundable due to weather conditions.
Insurance
Old Central Firehouse carries general liability insurance for its operations. Weddings require Event Cancellation Insurance, purchased within 30 days of booking, with a minimum recommended coverage of $5,000.
Cancellation & Termination
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Payments made toward the event are forfeited upon cancellation. The venue reserves the right to terminate an event agreement for missed payment deadlines or policy violations and to retain all payments made.
