The Travel Guide

A San Angelo Landmark Since 1929

Built in 1929, the Old Central Firehouse served downtown San Angelo through 1976. For nearly five decades, it was an active firehouse in the center of the city, built for function, readiness, and durability.

Many of the details that made it a working firehouse still shape the experience today. As the building enters its next chapter, our goal is to protect what makes it historic while restoring it with care. The firehouse remains a landmark downtown, now reimagined as a place for wedding weekends, retreats, and private gatherings that feel rooted in San Angelo.
